STEPPA User Conduct & Usage Policy

Welcome to STEPPA. By using the STEPPA platform, you agree to comply with the following usage conduct and policies. STEPPA is built to provide a safe, secure, and reliable environment for users to connect with businesses and service providers.

 

1. Platform Usage

Users must use STEPPA solely for lawful purposes, including browsing, purchasing products, and accessing services offered by verified providers on the platform.

 

2. Privacy & Communication

Users are not permitted to request, share, or disclose personal information such as phone numbers, email addresses, bank details, or social media handles.

All communication with providers must take place using STEPPA’s in-app messaging and Audio/Video Call services.

Attempts to move communication or transactions outside STEPPA are strictly prohibited.

 

3. Payments & Transactions

All payments for products or services must be completed through STEPPA’s secure payment system.

Users must not request or make payments outside STEPPA or ask providers for bank account details.

STEPPA is not responsible for transactions conducted outside the platform.

 

4. Honest & Responsible Use

Users must provide accurate information when making purchases or booking services.

Fraudulent activities, chargeback abuse, false claims, or misuse of refunds are prohibited.

 

5. Respectful Conduct

Users are expected to interact respectfully with providers and STEPPA staff.

Harassment, threats, abusive language, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.

 

6. Reviews & Feedback

Users may leave reviews and ratings based on genuine experiences.

False, misleading, or malicious reviews intended to harm providers are prohibited.

 

7. Refunds & Disputes

Refunds are subject to the provider’s stated refund policy on each product or service listing.

Any disputes must be reported through STEPPA’s dispute resolution system within the specified timeframe.

Users agree to cooperate by providing truthful and accurate information during dispute investigations.

 

8. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

Engage in illegal activities or request prohibited goods or services

Attempt to manipulate pricing, payments, or platform features

Circumvent STEPPA’s systems, security measures, or policies

 

9. Account Suspension & Termination

STEPPA reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts found to be in violation of these policies, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the violation.

 

10. Policy Updates

STEPPA may update this policy periodically. Continued use of the platform signifies acceptance of any changes.

 

STEPPA Business Conduct & Usage Policy

Welcome to STEPPA. Now that your business on STEPPA is active, you agree to comply fully with the platform’s rules and guidelines. STEPPA is designed to securely connect service providers, customers and free interaction while protecting privacy, payments, and service quality. Failure to comply may result in permanent deactivation of your account. 

 

1. Use of STEPPA Platform

You are required to conduct all business activities exclusively using STEPPA-provided tools and features. This includes product listings, service delivery, communication, and transactions.

 

2. Privacy & Communication

You must not request, share, or disclose any personal information, including phone numbers, email addresses, social media handles, or home addresses.

All calls and messages must be made through STEPPA’s in-app Audio and Video Call services, which are provided free of charge.

Any attempt to move conversations or transactions outside STEPPA is strictly prohibited 🚫

 

3. Payments & Financial Transactions

All payments for goods or services must be completed through STEPPA’s payment system, whether it is payment on delivery. 

You are not permitted to share bank account details, mobile money details, or request off-platform payments from users.

Withdrawals can only be made to your linked bank account through STEPPA and you are allowed to withdraw anytime from your STEPPA wallet. Any violation of this rule will result in a permanent ban from STEPPA.

 

4. Refund & Return Policy

You must clearly state your refund and return policy on each product or service listing.

Refund policies must be fair, transparent, and honored as stated.

Failure to comply with your stated policy may lead to penalties or account deactivation.

 

5. Accurate Listings & Honest Representation

All products and services must be described accurately, including pricing, condition, specifications, and delivery timelines.

Misrepresentation, false advertising, or misleading information is strictly prohibited.

 

6. Service Quality & Professional Conduct

You are expected to deliver services and products in a professional, timely, and respectful manner.

Harassment, abusive language, discrimination, or unethical behavior toward customers or STEPPA staff will not be tolerated.

 

7. Prohibited Items & Services

You must not list or provide illegal, restricted, or harmful products or services as defined by local laws and STEPPA policies.

STEPPA reserves the right to remove any listing deemed inappropriate without prior notice.

 

8. Dispute Resolution

All disputes must be handled through STEPPA’s dispute resolution system by contacting *Support@steppapay.com*

You agree to cooperate fully by providing accurate information when disputes arise.

 

9. Compliance & Monitoring

STEPPA reserves the right to monitor activities on the platform to ensure compliance.

Repeated violations or severe misconduct may result in permanent deactivation.

 

10. Business Performance Review

STEPPA reserves the right to review and deactivate any business account that is consistently non-performing, including businesses that fail to generate sales or show reasonable growth over a sustained period.

 

11. Product & Service Listings

There is no limit to the number of products or services you may list on STEPPA, provided all listings comply with STEPPA policies and applicable laws.

 

12. Advertising & Promotion

Advertising your products and services on STEPPA is free through STEPPA Reels, allowing providers to promote their offerings directly to customers at no cost.

 

13. Commission & Fees

STEPPA charges providers a flat commission of 8.5% on every successfully completed product or service sale processed through the platform.

 

14. Policy Updates

STEPPA may update these bylaws from time to time. Continued use of the platform signifies acceptance of any updates.
